Entries open for FNB Magalies Monster MTB Classic

This week entries will open for two of Buffelspoort’s most exciting events, the FNB Magalies Monster Mountain Bike (MTB) Classic presented by ISUZU and the FNB Platinum Trail Run. Taking place at the ATKV Buffelspoort (North West Province) on Saturday, 23 May 2015 and Sunday, 24 May 2015 respectively sport enthusiasts can look forward to spending a fun filled weekend outdoors with family and friends.

Also looking forward to it.

Probably the 45 km as my only previous MTB events were 30km and the 40km Nissan Trailseeker , I might need to just test myself first although I would actually like the challenge of the 80 km event.

Still so far away. 

 

Missed out on the 2014 edition, because of a delayed flight back from Namibia. 

 

Definitley going for the 80km.

In there for the 80km....! Have done the Mini Monster and 2 Big Monsters on a HT, looking forward to my comfy Trance taking a beating this time!

The 80km is an awesome race, I hope the riders will be starting in batches in 2015 as it is quite congested in the first 10 km.

That is the only thing that has to be sorted out by the race organizers.It should be done as the results of the race is also part of your seeding index.The race has become so popular and big that this has to be done.The rest is top notch.

Definitely going to do it again. Would love to do the 80km but with my 15km/h average the shorter distance it is. Rather going to get fitter and nail it.

Contacted Organisers , They indicated that there will be seeding for the 2015 event.

Done 3 halfs with best result topping off the top 10 so on to the 80 next year. Less waiting at the freakin river crossing ;) Hopefully.

Hope to see loads of you there truly is a proper race.

Done three 80km and each year I get stronger. Well after Joburg2c one would be properly strong for this

not the monster unless its the 80km....the 40 is known as the akkedisie or something.
