According to Alexa Cunningham, Event Manager, participants can look forward to two days of spectacular mountain biking in and around Stellenbosch. “In addition to experiencing spectacular mountain bike routes, riders can also look forward to a weekend of wine and craft beer tasting in the Winelands. Fantastic lucky draw prizes will be on offer, while the Fedhealth Zone will boast with the best massage therapists, physiotherapists and bioresonance therapists from around South Africa. There will also be a bike wash and service area after each stage of riding, while warm showers will give riders the opportunity to freshen up before enjoying a fully catered for scrumptious lunch,” says Cunningham.

“Riders can look forward to enjoying a new route that will meet the desired ride experience of all entrants,” continues Cunningham. “There is an option to do either a 60km or 40km route each day. We are very pleased to announce that the entry fee for 2014 will be R900 for the Long (60km and 60km), R800 for the medium (60km and 40km) and R700 for the Short (40km and 40km) events. This will include entry into the event, a fantastic goody bag, a scrumptious lunch each day and admission to the after-party that will take place Saturday evening. We would, however, like to encourage riders to support the Trail-Building Fund upon entering to ensure that these majestic trails are maintained year-round”.

Half the price cheaper than it was last year!!

Why are all the other event organisers not following this trend??

Most of the trails are not open to the public during the year. Really worth every penny. Last year the food was just insane.
