STAGE ONE (81km): The Endurance Stage / Friday, 08 February 2013

Water Points: 15km, 30km (self service), 39km, 50km, 65km and 70km

This is a stage of two halves – firstly the magnificent views of the valley to Voelvlei and secondly the return jeep track to Sandrif via Wuperthal and Eselsbank with its diverse vegetation and Rooibos Fields. The challenge will definitely be the old 4×4 trail down to Wuperthal followed by the longest and steepest climb of the event leaving Wuperthal.

STAGE TWO (61km): The Play Stage / Saturday, 09 February 2013

Water Points: 13km, 30km, 43km and 50km

After the initial climb leaving the race village the fun starts. Riders can look forward to a variety of single tracks; Waterfall and Kliphuis are split by the infamous Driehoek Roadie section from Kalkoenfontein, Lot’s Wife and the Shepard’s Trail. Towards the end riders will visit some of the highest situated wine producing vineyards. This stage will offer riders some of the most technical and challenging bit’s (never to long) as well as a good selection of the various terrain on offer in the Cederberg.

STAGE THREE (52km): A stage in development / Sunday, 10 February 2013

Water Points: 16km, 30km, 32km and 43km

After the initial district road, riders will get the opportunity to experience another one of the new single tracks on Vogelfontein farm. You will also experience the spectacular hospitality and trails of Nuwerus and Cederberg Oasis. Lookout for the Rock Formations through Truitjieskraal before enjoying the last water point of the event at Kromrivier.

Will it be very warm? Definitely hence the reason for an early start each day. By 11am all riders should be accounted for and will either be relaxing in the riverside bar or meals area.
