Junior mountain bikers in for a treat at Fedhealth Kids MTB Events

The picturesque Meerendal Wine Estate in Durbanville will be buzzing with excitement on Saturday, 03 September 2016 when junior mountain bike enthusiasts toe the line to partake in the action-packed Fedhealth Kids MTB Events.

“Fedhealth is a family-orientated medical aid,” says Jeremy Yatt, Fedhealth Principal Officer. “We are passionate about encouraging healthy and active lifestyles. The Fedhealth MTB Challenge offers the perfect platform for the whole family to slow down for a day and spend some quality time together. It’s great to know that we are enabling an event that brings families closer together and encourages an active lifestyle from a young age.”

500m fun ride: 5 years or younger
1.5km fun ride: 6 – 9 years
5km fun ride: 10 – 13 years
Entry Fee: R70

All Fedhealth Kids entries will receive a medal, a sweet treat and a Fedhealth Kids water-bottle as well as access to the Fedhealth Kids Zone with a jumping castle, movies and child minders.

The excitement continues at the Meerendal Wine Estate on Sunday, 04 September 2016 when mountain bike enthusiasts take on the more serious 65km, 35km and 15km Fedhealth MTB Challenge.

Entry Fee: R150 per rider

Exciting News ~ Fedhealth members will be pleased to hear that they can enter free of charge by typing in their membership number when entering on line.

With an array of food stalls serving up mouth-watering treats combined with Meerendal’s award winning wines and live music, participants and spectators will be spoiled for choice!
