The Karkloof MTB Festival has offered a special gift for mothers on Mother’s Day for a number of years now and with the backing of Sappi they will look to continue their offering of a little something special for the special lady in everyone’s lives.

“We are happy to announce that in 2015 we will once again have something for the mothers to enjoy on the Sunday of the Sappi Karkloof MTB Festival,” event organiser Stuart Berry said. “Our sponsors Sappi have funded the initiative in conjunction with Cellu-Beauty to offer all ladies present a pedicure to make them feel that little bit special.”

The event has always been proud of the family atmosphere that it creates around the weekend’s activities and Berry mentions that the Mother’s Day initiative is just one of the small things that the event does that makes it appealing to families.

“We have a large number of women that come and enjoy the event whether they are riding or supporting and it is important for us to be able to offer something different that will appeal to people that will get them to come back to the event in the future.

“After ladies have ridden and had a shower in the facilities provided we are encouraging them to head over the Cellu-Beauty tent to get themselves their free pedicure and enjoy being out in the Midlands.

“We also offer the pedicure to ladies that have not ridden and we hope that all ladies in attendance will take advantage of this fantastic offer that we will be running from 9am until 2pm on the Sunday,” Berry added.

Berry stresses that the pedicures are available to all ladies that are present at the Karkloof MTB Festival and not just those ladies that decide to take on the trails. There is a great chance for supporters to use the pedicure as a bit of down time as their spouses, partners or children are out testing themselves on the Karkloof trails.

“On Sunday we want to see all women as mothers and appreciate everything that our moms have done for us throughout the years.

“With this unique offering we look forward to another strong turnout of female competitors at this year’s festival after these numbers have grown considerably year after year,” Berry mentioned.
