The greatest mountain biking spectacle for masters and elite cyclists will be taking place in Pietermaritzburg in less than a month, and entries for the 2013 UCI MTB Masters World Championships close on Thursday 1 August.
The world’s best cross-country (XCO) and downhill (DHI) specialists in age categories from 30-years-old and above will have the opportunity to race for the world championship rainbow stripes on home soil from 21-25 August.

The Masters event is open to all non-elite XCO and DHI participants and proves a hot favourite with the team mechanics and support crews of the elite teams that will be racing a week later.

The UCI Mountain Bike and Trials World Championships takes place at Cascades MTB park in Pietermaritzburg from 26 August to 1 September 2013, and will be preceded by the UCI MTB Masters World Championships from 21 to 25 August.
