MOMSEN BIKES is set to release the new VIPA Full Suspension bike at the 2013 Cycle Tour Expo which starts on the 7th March 2013 in Cape Town, South Africa.
Arguably one of the most anticipated bikes from a South African Bicycle brand , the new VIPA is the result of a collaboration between MOMSEN BIKES and Patrick Morewood ( founder of MOREWOOD BIKES ).
Local cycling media and industry insiders have been “chomping at the bit” to release details about this new “Superbike” which will be the first full-carbon, full suspension bike to be Designed and Developed in South Africa.
On Thursday all will be revealed at the Expo.

The new full carbon bike has been in development for more than 2 years and includes a range of features selected specifically for it’s intended purpose: Stage Racing / Marathon / XC
• Short Travel Design – 80mm wheel travel
• Low Leverage Ratio for “bottomless” feel
• Carbon construction for lightweight
Final prototypes are now being tested and the scheduled market release is August 2013.
