Johannesburg, 23 June 2012 – MTN South Africa and Think Bike announced today a new partnership that sees MTN as the new telecommunications partner of the Think Bike safety and awareness campaign.
A campaign from the 80s, revived in 2005 and officially a Section 21 company (non‐profit) from 2009, Think Bike is a Marshalling initiative driven by volunteers which seeks to raise road safety awareness for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians alike.

The campaign is contracted to MTN Club 100 & Cycle Lab for weekly services in Gauteng, and provides regular marshals to events such as 94.7 Cycle Challenge, 702‐Walk‐the‐Talk, Die Burger, Aca Joe Pro Classic Series, Toyrun, funeral escorts, Bible Run etc.
