This Sunday, 28 January you can ride as many 10km laps as you want, or can - during the 12Hour team relay presented by Dirtopia from Delvera farm.

The route is an easy, but challenging course with some ascents in the vineyard, a few singletrack sections and great views of the Winelands. To see the route profile, rules and info, visit and only pre-entries are taken from

Riders can enter a team of 4 riders or two riders, or do it solo (for more freedom)! It is not necessary for team members to ride in sequence and one team member can do as many consecutive laps as they like. There should however not be more than a four lap difference between the rider with the most laps and the rider with the least number of laps at the end of the event.

The start is from 6h30 and live timing is done by Trail Tag and included in the entry fee. Wear the watch-like tag on you right wrist and tag at the reader every time you pass through the finish line after the lap.

Prizegiving will take place shortly after the 18h30 cut-off.

Only pre-entries are taken so get your teams together - categories include: Open, Mixed and Junior. Cost is from only R200 per rider.
Dirtopia Café will serve coffee, breakfast & lunch, snacks, cold drinks all day long.

Family are welcome to come support & watch and there is free kiddies entertainment too. Zebonkey beers are on tap that is made on Delvera farm.

The 24Hours of Oak Valley will take place in April this year, with entries opening soon. This is a taster for teams and riders that like this format of mountain biking.
