With the Cape Epic only two weeks after the GR300 Garden Route Events have decided to ease up on the distances covered and altitude gained. For 2016 the GR300 included nothing but the best Garden Route riding, including the Garden Route Trail Park. The daily stats are 80km with 1 650m of climbing, 62Km with 1 550m of climbing, and 78km with 1 450m of climbing in the longer GR300. While for the GRLite riders the daily routes cover 64km with 1 250m of ascent, 46km with 1 100m of ascent, and 65km with 1 050m of ascent; which makes for perfect time in the saddle for riders competing in their first 3 day stage race, or riders just looking to enjoy the Garden Route in the best way possible.
