Kicking off with the Centurion show on 23 May, Trails In Motion Mountain Bike Film Festival in partnership with Bike Hub and Ledlenser, will make its way to Sandton on the 25th of May, followed by Umhlanga on 1 June, Port Elizabeth on 8 June and Tygervalley on the 15th of June.

The inaugural Festival showcases 11 of the best mountain bike and adventure films, produced by some of the world’s top filmmakers, which have been carefully selected by the Trails In Motion team.

“The films that make up our official selection have been chosen because of their diversity and rich story line,” says Festival Director James Hallett. “We believe that all riders revere their own individual sense of adventure when it comes to venturing outdoors and riding bikes and this year’s films truly encompasses this spirit of discovery and self-expression.”

Matt Eagar, Founder of Bike Hub says that not only are the films epic, there’s something special about watching them on the big screen. “We consume so much mountain biking media on our small screens, there’s something magical about watching these MTB films with your mates at the cinema,” says Eagar.
