Two more fantastic Specialized Concept Stores open in December

· By Press Office · 7 comments

Capping off what’s been a busy year in the local cycling industry was the launch of the Concept Cyclery Melrose Arch and Bell’s Cycling stores, as Specialized Concept Stores, on the 9th and 11th of December 2015. Both Bell’s Cycling and Concept Cyclery Melrose Arch were well established stores before, and their clients can now look forward to an even better cycling retail and service experience when they next stop by to browse the 2016 Specialized Bicycle models or take their bikes in for a service before heading off on holiday.

Located in one of South Africa’s premier shopping precincts, Melrose Arch, the Concept Cyclery store is the oldest Specialized Concept store in South Africa. It opened its doors in 2010 and five years later the time was right for a refit to bring the look and feel of the Melrose Arch store in line with its sister store Concept Cyclery Cedar Square, which opened in 2013. Boasting a Power Performance Centre upstairs equipped with spinning bikes, along with all the features which make Specialized Concept Stores so special; including dedicated areas for Road, Mountain, S-Works and Ladies Specific bicycles. The Concept Cyclery Melrose Arch store also hosts a Body Geometry Fit studio and an excellent workshop, as well as being staffed by some of the most knowledgeable retail staff in the business – a fact you can be sure of as they’ve undergone Specialized Bicycle Component University training. They also organise informal rides from the store twice a week and host a more formal ride on a weekend once a month, so if you’re looking for a riding group in the Melrose Arch area there’s another great reason to drop by Concept Cyclery Melrose Arch.

In Nelspruit, one of South Africa’s most likable and decorated mountain bikers, Nico Bell, held the grand opening of his Specialized Concept Store on the 11th of December. Bell’s Cycling had been trading as a Specialized Concept Store for nearly two months, but such is the perfectionism of the proprietor that the grand opening could only take place once he was satisfied everything was perfect. Along with Nico’s phenomenal cycling knowledge, and desire to share and infect you with his love of cycling, the draw-cards to Bell’s Cycling include dedicated Road, Mountain, S-Works and Ladies Specific Bicycle selections. Plus after tapping Nico’s knowledge to get yourself on the best possible bike for you, you can get yourself set-up to avoid injuries in Bell’s Cycling’s Body Geometry Fit studio.

Coinciding with the grand opening of the Bell’s Cycling Specialized Bicycles Concept Store was the launch of Nico Bell and Gawie Combrinck’s 2016 team; NAD Professional MTB Team. The duo will be backed by property developers New Africa Developments and Specialized Bicycles as they pursue their racing goals, including the Absa Cape Epic in 2016.

The beauty of a Specialized Bicycles Concept store is that you can expect the same level of service and access to parts and knowledgeable advice from each Specialized Concept store across the country. While locals have built-up tremendous trust in Concept Cyclery Melrose Arch and Bell’s Cycling over the years, if you’re visiting the Lowveld on holiday or Johannesburg on business you can with total peace of mind drop by either Bell’s Cycling or Concept Cyclery Melrose Arch and know your bike will be treated with the same care and professionalism as it is back at your local Specialized Concept Store in Cape Town, Durban or Pretoria.
