USN Cup Series #3 delivers thrilling race experience

· By Matt · 0 comments

The third leg of the 2013 Ultimate Sports Nutrition (USN) MTB Cup Series is done and dusted and the competitors are now taking a well-earned rest before their next race! The third race of the Series attracted nearly 1000 riders and we are now just three races away from crowning the winner after the grand finale in October.

The third race took place on Saturday at the B’sorah Luxury Tented Camp, Bassora Farm in Broederstroom, North West Province. It was the first time this route has been included in the USN MTB Cup Series and riders were challenged by the combination of single game and cattle tracks, which were complemented with lung busting climbs on tough jeep tracks and a few descents that required a serious degree of skill.

Judging on the Twitter discussions, riders of the race really enjoyed the new route and venue.

Some of the Tweets included the following:

The preceding week’s rain softened the underfoot conditions and the slightly cooler autumn weather made the riding experience increasingly pleasurable and comfortable for all the competitors.
