Technology:
Polycarbonate lenses are up to 10 times more impact-resistant than plastic or glass lenses and they provide 100% protection from the sun’s UV rays. This durable material is especially good at preventing fractures, so they are popular with semi-rimless and rimless glasses as well as being lightweight.
TAC (Tri Acetate Cellulose) Polarized lenses feature a new lens technology formulated for enhanced visual and polarization clarity. They are hard coated to resist scratching and block out 100% of all harmful UV rays (400x) and are also very light weight.
Grilamid TR-90 is a plastic polymer used in the creation of sport and other impact-resistant frames. Mostly used in polarized sunglasses. Grilamid TR-90 is super-lightweight, flexible, and heat and UV resistant. Polarized sunglasses made with Grilamid TR-90 frames are known for their strength, lightweight, shape integrity and impact resistance.

The D’Arcs Edge are super lightweight, frameless shades with great coverage and visibility. Despite the lightweight, the rubberised arms keep them on your face or stowed in a helmet securely (vent layout depending).
