Are you ready to unleash your little one’s inner shredder? Look no further than the newest addition to the Trek stable: the Roscoe Kids’ bike! Roscoe Kids’ simplifies your budding star’s trail experience, letting them ride with confidence, build skills, and above all, have a whole lot of fun while they’re at it! It’s the perfect introduction to trail riding, we’ve put a lot of thought in the details. The choice of mid-fat 2.8” tyres help kids stay balanced, roll over obstacles, and scamper up tricky climbs in a jiffy. Roscoe Kids’ is easy to set up, with a simple 1x drivetrain that allows kids to focus on what they need to: the ride. The lightweight, trail-tough Alpha Aluminium frame with sloping top tube makes it easier to hop on and off. Available in striking quicksilver, Roscoe Kids’ is being released in a 24” version, making it suitable for children aged around 8 to 10.

At Trek SA we now stock an ample range of kids’ bikes, for children from as little as 3 years of age. For you as parents, we know you only want the best for your kids, and when it comes to exercise and outdoor activity, your checklist includes a safe, comfortable, reliable bike that won’t break the bank.

Kick up their learning experience a notch with the Kickster

From that very first riding experience you want your children to love cycling, and at Trek, we only build bikes that we’d happily put our own kids on. Balance bikes have become all the rage in recent years, as parents have grown to realise that balance, rather than pedalling, is the most important aspect of riding a bike. Trek’s Kickster is a great choice for the littlest riders, teaching them to balance early, and helping the transition to a bike with pedals, that much easier. The low saddle lets little legs reach the ground and zoom along. A built-in steering limiter prevents them from turning too sharply, increasing confidence. A foot rest lets them try balancing as they get better. And the best part is that the contact points are dialled to fit the kids right from the start.

All-round fun for all kids on the Precaliber

Mountain bikes remain a hot favourite among our young South African cyclists, and the Trek Precaliber kids’ line-up delivers on all levels. We’re talking kid-friendly styling: an in-your-face look, knobby tyres that’ll take them to the park or see them conquering light trails with ease. The frame and fork are made to fit kids from the start and keep up with them as they grow. Trek’s Dialed Fit system ensures a custom fit on all contact points: the saddle, grips and pedals are Dialed for comfort. The Alpha Aluminium frame, hand brakes and durability make Precaliber the bike of choice if you want your purchase to ‘grow’ with your kids.

Precaliber is now available in 16”, 20” and 24” size curves, so kids as young as four could feel at home on their first pedal bike. The Precaliber 24 is offered in either a simple 7-speed version or a 21-speed model for both boys and girls.
