Pirelli PZero Velo tyre arrives in South Africa

Cape Cycle Systems takes on the distribution of the new Pirelli PZero Velo tyres from 01/12/2017 onwards for the South African market and will distribute nationwide the new range of premium tyres dedicated to the road racing.

Global leader across the car and motorbike tyre market, the only supplier – since 2011 – of F1 single-seaters and Superbikes, Pirelli bounces back into the world of cycling backed up by a 110-year-old sports tradition.

The PZero Velo range will initially be available in three different versions, featuring a colour label on the tyres’ side, recalling the well-known PZero from F1: silver for Road Racing, red for the Time Trial and blue for the 4 Seasons.

Overall increased SmartNET™ Silica tread pattern thickness in addition to an aramid fiber puncture-resistant belt ensure extensive mileage and reliability in bad weather and cold temperatures.
