The FedGroup PE PLETT is truly unique

The FedGroup PE PLETT – Eastern Cape’s largest stage race is truly unique. Its more than a race … it’s an adventure, as 200 riders tackle an awesome route from Port Elizabeth to Plettenberg Bay starting on 2 March and finishing 4 days later at Kurland Polo field in the Crags.

PE PLETT has a LITE category of 60km per day and then “The Tough One” at 90km average per day.

The route will really blow you away and with our new March dates …. We are looking forward to hosting a dry PE PLETT.

Day 1:

This is a day of Single Track as we depart from Woodridge into the bike parks of 3 River Trails and a switchback descent into the Gamtoos Valley and wonderful jeep track all the way to our Zuurbron Village.

Day 2:

A dramatic change in riding terrain as we move from one private farm to the next in the magical Suuranys mountains. Its rugged and has an incredible beauty attached to it. Our new Assegaaibosch Hotel Village has all the creature comforts and we are sure you will love it.

Day 3:

An early morning crossing of the Tsitsikamma Range and views of the Indian ocean ahead. It’s a day of Cape Pine forests, protea farms, sea and some awesome Kwaaibrand single track and, if you’re early enough … a Zipline experience at Tsitsikamma Falls Adventure village.

Day 4:

It’s into Storms River village, the magnificent Bloukrans pass and for the Tough One riders, a fast and furious descent into Natures Valley and then the final climb out of Salt River on beautiful San Parks single track …. Kurland Polo Field in the Crags awaits.
