Celebrate freedom with these 20″ and 29″ mountain bikes from Zini

· By Bike Hub Features · 4 comments

Meet Zini, a bike brand developed specifically for the South African market by the folks at Omnico. Founded in 1987, Omnico is one of the largest importers and distributors of bicycles and cycling products in the country.

While offering exceptional value for money, the Omnico team have placed emphasis on ensuring that each and every Zini bike is exceptionally well equipped relative to the price point.

The rationale behind launching this brand is simply that Omnico has over 30 years’ experience in the cycling industry. Throughout this journey, the company has dealt with many of the top cycling manufacturers in the world and to this end, an opportunity existed to develop our own bike brand whereby all our learnings and knowledge could be pooled into the creation of Zini bikes. Mark Nel, Omnico’s National Marketing Manager

Absolutely no shortcuts have been taken and our team have spent countless hours over the last 2 years to bring this dream to reality. We are massively excited at the thought of seeing these bikes on the trails and they are available from leading Omnico dealers countrywide. Mark Nel, Omnico’s National Marketing Manager

Such a pity they put forks on the 20" kiddies bike. It just adds weight and makes these bikes heavy for the little guys and gals. Scott Roxter still has to be the pick of the bunch in this segment.
