  1. but the sizing chart says 86 is XS
  2. 1.75m 82kg 86cm waist I see now its actually XS
  3. yeah according to their sizing chart I'm a size small bib. but if you say its good then I'm going to pull thr trigger and buy a pair of bibs from them
  4. Tried them on, they were tight in all the wrong places, decided it was just best to go commando
  5. my youngest has also been asking for a bunk bed, she just wants a bed high up off the floor. She already has a wooden bed, so was thinking of adding some "stilts" and a ladder
  6. * Turn on the lights when digging through the as yet unsorted pile of clean underwear to make sure you take your jocks instead of the wifes. That was a rather interesting commando day at the office that day. * If your front light seems like its not bright enough, try pointing it down and not at the sky
  7. Unless I can buy it online any black friday deals at brick and mortar stores will not have me rushing out to the store. I hate the crowds at shops at the best of times, ad the rush of "big" specials and I walk in the opposite direction. I need to upgrade both mine and the wifes iphones, the deals I'm looking at are at istore and instore only. I been twice now to eastgate, saw the queue outside the store and walked away. We'll stick to our 5 year old phones for a little longer.
  8. I nearly fell for the Corsa shorts, luckily I picked up the absence of the word bib in the description.
  9. Just don’t add sealant
  10. cant be worse than foam rolling or any other self massage method. I got one because tight quads are making my knee hurt, foam rolling after every ride has helped a heck of a lot, this gives me another options to relieve the muscles. I also have HUGE knots in my shoulders, stress and posture related, if left it give me nausea inducing headaches, my wife only has so much strength in her hands and I seem to pop tennis balls open at the seem when I lie on them to self massage.
  11. Funny you should mention bump. Since 2014 my personal car has covered less mileage than my bikes as I've had company cars. June this year I handed my company car back in order to save on perks tax and have been using the bike and personal car. The other day I'm in my car and I'm trying to find something other than the rubbish radio stations to listen to, and what do I discover in the CD shuttle (yes my car is that old), a bump CD.
  12. Well I just hit pay on one of these
  13. ^^^ what he said I'm in sales, and as much as "i'm no longer interested" replies hurt, its far more frustrating having people inquire, ask questions and then just go AWOL.
  14. just in-case anyone is interested. i solved this. It seems when I loaded the HR Strap I put in an initial distance and time, this accounts for the difference between the 2 devices.
  15. a lion is not domesticated. When it comes to dogs I'll trust a big dog over a little dog, maybe its because I grew up with big dogs, but to me their temperament is much more predictable. Little dogs are noisy all the time, big dogs generally only show aggression when they are prepared to go through with it.
  16. I changed from a Giant Alu bar to a Giant Carbon bar last year, 130g difference between the 2.
  17. After it was recommended on another thread to someone else I decided to part with some money and buy the app. It picked up my bikes from Strava and I then started adding components that I wanted to track. 2 of the items I added were HR strap battery and Cadence sensor battery. These were changed just the other day, a few days apart but with no rides in between. When I go to the individual components, they both show the same rides as being linked to them, however, there is a 33km and 1 hour difference in usage between the 2.
  18. yes, in general. Ofcourse you will get the cases where its not the stereotypical owner, and in those case you will generally see a different behaviour in the dog. Yes certain dogs are more prone to certain behaviour traits, that is what they were designed for, but to label an entire breed of dog as dangerous just because they are generally owned by the type of people that make them that way is unfair to the poor animal.
  19. I dont like Pit Bulls, but these stats only show one side of things. There are many more factors at play in dog attacks than just the type of dog.
  20. Nice solo ride. After weeks of only commutes it was nice to get out and do some LSD, even if the wind was a bit rough in some places. And loving my free Versus socks
  21. The onedayonly prices are much better than what Merrell have on their website, but the wife vito'd the decision and said I should rather go to the cyclelab sale next week where I can atleast try on before buying.
  22. ^^^ This My wifes body has always acted strangely to the pill, so there were stages of persevering through the strangeness and stages of making sure the reverse thrusters were always primed and ready. After my last child was born the decision was made that enough is enough and I had the procedure done. It lifted a weight off mine (and our) shoulders. But, your body your choice. Everyone must make the decision that is right for them at the current time.
  23. has anyone tried the Merrel bib shorts ? I see onedayonly has them on promotion today.
  24. Just realized thats a Spez, see even the dog knows
