  2. I have a good eye for kit, next time you "draff out" take a picture and post it, you will get good response here. (what a dog I am) Mabe look for reviews online, or try see what other girls are using, as they should know best. Websited like www.bikeradar.com review ladies wear and have female test riders. See what they recomend. otherwise.. as much as I hate to refer you there, I guess some of the large bike stores like cycle lab have ladies stuff.(donno about the service though). good luck.

  5. Cool! such luck, and that had a one of a kind gold lable fork on it. Americans are such a lag. the oke tries to pull his gun out and only spills his coffe! whaha
  6. A mate of mine had his gary fisher sugar with race face /xtr stolen from his bakkie abot a year ago. The other day he was on the way back from Jonkers when he noticed his bike(could only have been his as he built it up and all the parts were sourced seperate) he went straight up to the guy (no european) told him that the bike belonged to him and that its now going to be his once more, he ripped the bike from the oke and told him to eff-off.. He got his back.. lucky guy, the way he did it is questionable, but to have to go through the whole paper shlep... I would do the same. The cops would probably have found a way to prove that the bike has been with the other persons posession for to long and then put my mate behind bars.. haha, Many beers were had that night and the Gary was his once more!
  7. COOL, we are all allowed our opinions. I had a stp, a planet x etc etc and again, I dont know what we are really talking about as DJ here anyway, but I think this is going off the topic. Which I guess was more about the looks anyway. Peace
  8. This has been said before, but you put it out there, I give my opinion. I said it with a LOL at the end indicating it was not a serious "choon" I would love to have abike like this for going to the shop, hell jea. Im just saying that I think its a bit of a waist as for the money he could have probably gotten something a lot more "usable" as a "play around bike" He must have lots of money If he can buy this for a beach cruise bike, and im sure you will agree, also that It is his choice to do what the hell he wants with it, YES, ofcourse, mabe It just hurt a bit knowing I will probably never own that... As for the strenth.. trust me, for Dirt jumping, get n dirt jumping bike(thats why they make them steel these days), this will not last a season, take my word, I did it for a long long time. but then again I dont think he is doing huge jumps and maby what Im reffering to as "dirt jump" and the general public is also different. enjoy.
  9. Appart from being utterly ugly, whats this bike suppose to do? It's s carbon allmountain bike right, with heavy duty rims, and dirt jump/street tyres? If it was a steel hardtail I would have no problems. But this bloke bought this carbon bike for 4X or dirt jumping (like Brian Lopes)??? remember that Flyin Brian probably gets these for free if he were to break it. Or was his pockets getting to heavy and he thought getting this would make his rides to the shop more comfortable. Im sorry, but this is really really dumb
  10. It works up my spine and creates a headache.. ok, for real, When they deliver the parcel, to your door nogal, you have to pay them the cash right there and then, I dont know what its supposed to be, but it always works out around 15% I payed R707 on 295 pouns
  11. oh shizer, I shouldnt...Im looking for parts to build up a roadbike.. oh hell.. No Im going to tie myself up so I cannot go look. I love that place. Imagin walking through their new retail shop. Oh goodnes.
  12. Yes, It is, Leon was hilarious, The ride to the festival was about 80 km and they are of course not fit leon took ages. (wayne a true athlete) was gunning the dirtroad downhill on his borrower road bike, was so funny. But I think Im messing up this peoples thread..as you were the only one to comment on this(haha..sssssh)
  13. I just got a roadbike, and that (Hollys post)Is how I wil "draf out"!! . Dont think the Camps bay crew will mind us in their shops and coffe bars with that kit, I really like it.. I did the ride to the Rocking the daizeys Festival a few months ago...this Is what went down...
  14. Rode tokai Last night, didnt see any puffys, just lank babbaboons. How nice Did Murant and the team fix the singletrack!, nice job, I love the main middle singletrack, Oh hell and especially the second half one can really haul ass!! The section with the drop as you go round the tree before the rollers and smal jumps.. sweet ass.. Pitty It was done so late, as Im afraid many of the burms will not harden because not getting wet which normally hardens the stuff. but hey, at least I rode it before season, cause When we all get back from our holidays next year Im afraid most of it will be trashed again.. but lets have faith! Oh and the baboons.. what do you guys do If youre alone ant the whole pack is sitting in the trail ahead of you?? Happend to me last night on the "fairy garden" trail (what a *** name) and I had to turn around and go back up. Do you guys just barge right through the middle? cause they dont seem to be frightened by us no more.
  15. Ek ken hom, Roady, strong like bull! gaawe klong. Hy is nou in wales. Goedgan, eks more af, hoeka oppad daarna toe, mar vir n troue die keer.
  16. Exactly bro!! Oh hell! I should tell you the story about the huge baboon, but I will save it for another day.. Waar is jy vandaan Hendrik? Ken jy daai bos? The HIlls have EYES!! (domestique vi jou!)
  17. Glad you took the time, I still feel the chills down my back...the YETI bra, I beleve in the YETI that night!
  18. This has nothing to do with snakes but oh I have to tell this story...My works boring so here goes.. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Put yourself in my shoes otherwise this wont be funny.. Me and this crazy mate of mine is on a night ride in the Knysna forest.. deep...I have no Idea where we are and he has half an Idea, we have about an hour of battery left between us and its 10pm at night. The thing about the knysna forrest is you dont know what could be lurking about out there.. the bergie, the YETI, the Leopard's or the DJ dude that killed those girls.. Anyway, I also know this mate of mine (and he is one crazy boy and have no fear, We have had more near death experiences together than beers. So.. now that I?ve painted the picture... We are flying down this dirtroad, He has better lights than me so Im on the edge trying to keep up, cause I sure as hell dont want to fall off the pace(the boogyman /yeti will get me) so we are storming down into Pitch blackness... Imagination running Ramped (to many Predator movies) ... and next thing I notice there are things running In the bush beside us...FAAAAARK My heart almost jumps out my through!! and next thing there are two Very large things standing upright In the middle of the road which In my mind Is either the Effen YETI or BEARS!! So needless to say I almost let out a squeak and a hellova *** but I didnt want to aggravate the THINGs.. Turns out theres a bunch of horses around and there?s a dead one right in front of Morne (bud) Just lying there looking dead while the others were frightened by us and got revved up on the Back legs(whatever thats called), the otheres were all running around scared. Now we were standing there both scared out of our minds and like 10 horses staring at us from all around. sh*t I don?t think I had ever been that scared in my life, but Is very funny When thinking back. If you guys are in Knysna area over December, bring your lights and PM me! You will tell your friends back home about it. Oh, theres Puffys there as well.
  19. Oh hell yes, I was pushing my bike(downhill bike) just at the start of the tar a few years back when I noticed what looked like a long piece of Aluminium extrusion bent to stand upright In the middle of the road about 20m ahead of us. then the Piece of Ali started moving, and Oh mother of #$* did I get a fright! yes a Cape Cobra standing about shoulder hight! we had to pass where It was "parked off" so we threw rocks at it to try and scare it off, but the bugger took shots at the rocks flying passed it Instead of getting a fright!! sh*tballs those are scary.
  20. YES!! I love it! being right. Haha If it makes sense...
