    The Classics

I used to love watching Giro on RAI, the Italians go crazy with their commentary. All I could make out was the riders names.
  4. Looking for a 31.6mm Colnago seatpost for my EP please?
  5. I bought my Silca wax from https://frictionworx.co.za. I used the bottle shake method with turpentine followed by degreaser then acetone. I dropped chain in a ultrasonic cleaner after to see if it did even more cleaning to my surprise there was no more dirt. If your chain is super dirty 1st clean with degreaser to save your turpentine. I cleaned with turpentine until the liquid wasn't cloudy anymore. I wanna try the drop lube from Silca for maintenance between waxes when chain is dirty. I melted my wax in a glass jar in boiling water on gas stove.
  6. Just saw a message of a cyclist knocked down on M5 at Kromboom turnoff. From reports there was blanket thrown over cyclist. Major impact to windscreen of car.
  7. Heard about this from my friends. I tweeted the City, PPA, Alan Winde and SAPS. I hope he reported it even if he got away.
  8. Check the Old Mutual Wealth Double Century Strava club for teams needing a rider or 2.
  9. My next upgrade will hopefully be https://www.shadesofcoffee.co.uk PID with pressure guage and top box.
  10. Had a friend send it over from NZ with family. You can order directly from Pullman AUS as well.
  11. It’s ‘bean’ really good. Upgraded to a bottomless portafilter with a Pullman precision basket. My 1Zpresso makes it easier dialling in the grind between brew types. I’m using Flat Mountain’s Heritage grind currently. Still practising how to steam milk perfectly but I’m getting there., The wand on the Gaggia is limiting for position
  12. Thats a R74000 single dose grinder. Every week you can watch a review on what is the next endgame grinder or the Niche killer. It is beautiful and meticulously built though. Would have to buy a LM Micra or Mini to go with it
  13. Here you go. I need the naked portafilter to match the tamper.
  14. I got myself a Gaggia Classic as a start. Within 5 minutes of getting home I had installed a 9 bar OPV as it comes with a 15bar spring. Tx to @Meezo and @can on dale for referring me to www.latteart.co.za who sorted me out and now just to wait for my grinder already on order. I'm sure I'm gonna be back there soon to pimp my machine out further. Now just to learn how to make coffee.
  15. Howsit. Anyone bought from https://onlinecoffeeshop.co.za based in Cape Town? Says they don't have stock or a showroom at their offices. I'm looking to get a Gaggia Classic as they have the best price so far. They have reviews on My Broadband from 2 years ago.
  16. Checkout https://capecoffeebeans.co.za/search?type=product&q=Portafilter
  17. I'm gonna stick to mechanical, simply because I can't afford EPS or the new wireless. I blame the new world order, even UAE equipped their Colnago's to Shimano.
  18. Had the issue with my 23mm tyres as well. Fitted the 24mm from Specialized before DC. The frame is the Extreme Power. Will check with Dragonsports.
  19. Mavic Kysiriums and they were serviced by Dragonsports.
  20. Hubs were sent to Dragonsports (Mavic agent) for servicing. I could not find a rear wheel to match my casette when changing wheels. Mavic changed their freewheel body specs for newer Mavic wheels so couldnt switch my freebody to borrowed wheels. The front wheel however was eliminated as cause. There is no tyre rubbing either on fork as thought this was the case with weight shifting on descending. Im am running 24mm Specialized tyres and before that 23mm tyres.
