  1. you wanna settle this arguement????? EASY! just take a drive to teak place on a sunday morning. The roadie clowns that think they own the road for some strange reason. i'm not even gonna get into it cuz its self-explainetory. guys riding 5 abreast up a hill in the road when there is a nice size yellow lane????????? VS the chill out atmosphere in the mtb crowd inside teak. I mean ive even heard roadies complaining about the riders on the road.
  2. problem wasnt the colour of the light it was the A-hole in the BMW. If it was a "530d" (read upsidedown if you dont understand) it would speak for itself.
  3. i was thinking cable and housing. any susgestions? freewheel body 100% and tight. shifting is fine its only hunting when i put pressure on the pedals.
  4. howzit hubbers any help with the following would be greatly appreciated. Problem: my gears keep hunting on the rear cassette. taken my bike to my LBS and had the gears tuned. works well for about 30-40km and then the same problem. as soon as i put power down on the cranks the chain jumps on the rear cassette. since i have replaced with a brand new: Chain HG-75 rear cassette shimano XT rear derailer shimano XT had my gears tuned over and over again. they work for a short time and then start acting up again. getting very annoying now. could it be the shifters or low quality cables. dont know what cable are in at the moment but sute they are entry level. help please, this is ruining my MTB experiance

Thank you Avid for the juicey ultimates or i would be writing this from hospital. and the response i get from the other guy once i say did you not see the one way sign was "oh i didnt know that was for this track" i mean come on guys. cyclist are some of the cleverist and f@#king stupid people i"ve ever met. catch a wake and and think about where you are going on your bikes.

  9. what ever happened to the old "BUNDU" bike you know the one you had to backpedal to brake. and after a while that failed and you would stop it by putting your foot on the back wheel. fun but those puppies where indistructable. couldn't break it if you tried and believe me we did for years.

  12. but according to them (CSA) you need to be a member of a club first?
  13. so now to race i gotta pay: 1-CSA membership. R 75-00 2- to be a CSA member i have to be part of an offical club. R 300-700 3- race licence. R350-00 TOTAL : R 725 - R 1125-00 WTF That is absolute BS. espacailly when you take into account the cost of races now days. or am i missing something?????
  14. thanx guys will look at some off the alternatives you have mentioned
  15. need to insure my bike now that im not riding a entry level anymore and would have to sell a kidney to replace it. who is better has anyone had any experience with these companies? cycle-sure: they have a great package where they coer your bike for; THEFT: while at home, in transit, while riding. DAMAGE: to bike or components while riding, transit, home. (nice cause i ride a cabon and you never know) MI-WAY bike insurance. dont know yet what they offer. has anyone had use any of they facilaties. cause as with all insurance its all and well when they tell you this and that anything you wanna hear to get you to sign the papers. but then when you break something they bring out some funny clause in the fine print that says something like the bike is not cover for damages caused while the bike is move or comes in contact with a hard object. Sorry just not i bigg fan of insurance companies been #@$% over to many time. if anyone can help me as i'm an idiot when it comes to these sort of things i would be great. or if you have any other suggestions. looking for the best cover for my RANDS.
  16. there is some awsome single tracks but very flat in that area unless you go towards the zambezi valley. take a gps so you can find your way home. easy to get carried away and then be 2-3 hours from the car/house. Kafue is awsome.
