Why does the thread title say "murder" ?

The same posters making the same comments every year.
It is hilarious.
Do you think they know that nobody is forcing them to buy it?

Did exactly that last night on the 4th tyre I fitted.... I made the neighbours blush with my choice of language.
10/10 will ride.
Did he send you a copy of his ID or works on an oil rig?
Wants to send a courier to collect etc.
Whatever you do don't release the goods unless money is cleared in your account.
Get bike fit done
Go see a biokineticist
Not to be that guy but....
I'll stick to my Hope Tech 3 V4s.
- 10 years old and not a single issue.
- Bled them once in 10 years because I figured it was time.
- Stops with excellent modulation and power.
- Never felt like they faded on me.
- Looks amazing with the machined surfaces
Anyone up in Centurion that also rides solo most of the time and looking for a friend to ride with?
I mostly ride out to Harties and back via satellite road and through the cradle.
Nothing fancy in the garage and I’m not a speed demon with an insta360 on the tail.
Read the t’s & c’s before shipping secondhand goods with Courier Guy and paying for insurance.
You are throwing away money.
All I know is it should click. Never owner a Rockshox fork that didn’t click.
Ah FFS man.
This one hit really hard. 😭
Rest in peace my friend. We had many a good conversation in all the years I’ve known you.
Keep the rubber rolling wherever you find yourself.
Anything without a velcro strap. They wear out so quickly with dust etc on rides.
I prefer POC and ION. Leatt is good but the cut can be weird on some styles.
I used Fox a lot in the past and love the brand but the velcro is an issue.
Specialized make great gloves but pricey.
Spent over R2000 on a fit with a well recommended fitter. The stem length changed 10mm and the saddle was raised 5mm.
Made no difference to the comfort of the bike and didn't resolve the pain issues I had. I was also promised a copy of all the adjustments and my measurements. Multiple followups and nothing.
I ended up adjusting everything myself and the bike fits like a glove. University of YouTube for me before I trust another snake oil salesman.
No difference between the two. I have two bikes with 120mm travel on the rear.
While different applications I've never felt that one is more efficient or performs better than the other.
Lockout is, as Splat said, key to optimal pedal efficiency. For an open shock it comes down to linkage design and not the direction in which the shock faces.

The locks on any bike rack is garbage. Can be broken in seconds.
Get a good lock and chain to secure your bikes. Thank me later.
Be careful of the term UPS. They are generally a very short term solution that allows you to safely shut down your computer and electronics. Running items off these will destroy the batteries quite quickly.
You need an inverter with a battery backup.

My question as well. My partner is also keen on this.

I must add that last year after a year of ownership the bike was booked with Cycle Lab for a major service stating that both the suspensions needs to looked at and assumed that the dropper post will also be looked at.
The mechanic contacted my wife stating that a major service was not needed and the both the suspensions looked fine. At found it strange at the time but left it there seeing that they know what to look for. I have made it my mission to aquire much knowledge as possible over the past year of what is true and what is not true.
It seems now that the post is dire need of a proper service and adjustment.
Go to a real bike shop.
6 minutes ago, MilkManMike said:Okay. I just assumed, because the guys are dressed in Mr D clothing, and the bikes are MrD branded that they provided them to contracted riders, unlike Uber/bolt which is more focused on individual contractors doing the deliveries.
The amount of times a MrD branded oke with a bike delivered an Uber Eats order is quite funny.
These okes deliver for every possible service they can.
Mr D has electric/pedal delivery bikes.
If you bought the bike new then the shop normally offers the first service for free.
This is so that all these little niggles can be sorted out.
Not abnormal for indexing to go out slightly in the first 250km.
Chat to the shop and if not an option just unscrew that little barrel adjuster while riding until the shifting smooths out.
