  2. Personally, I would look at second hand ask advice here, post some links and the experts will comment but it is nice to pull in that NICE new steed - Enjoy your journey.
  3. The travel/car hire is a fair benefit but also not that great, we recently booked flights for two to cape town from JHB and 7 days car hire for R6420, I think that was good, but the flights alone wasn't that great. I got more benefit from Multiply with their online shop.

  16. You should go on your inseam measurements but judging from your length(same as me) you can go for a 54 or 56, there will be many used options out here on the bikehub
  17. I am on 1200 points per week, easy to achieve, a nice 3 -4 hour ride on Saturday = 600 points, 1 hour ride on the MTB with the missus Sunday = 300 points, the rest gets made up with weekday rides or steps.
  18. Entered, I have a score to settle with this race.
  19. I did see cable actuated disc brake calipers at TVS Cycles, that would allow you to use cable STI's onto discs.
  20. There are Rental bikes at Taroko Trails, not cheap but it's a start, it is going to be muddy for the next couple of weeks.
  21. I did a similar set-up with Silverback Sola 4, went 1 x 10 gears (42 front - 11 - 36 at the back), and Maxxis 45 x 700c gravel tires, I stuck with flat MTB bars just to curb costs and I am very happy with the build, weighs 10.5kg with pedals and rolls like a dream even with cheap Syncross wheels. I use this for my morning training rides. Check out @KEANBIKESsales1they have a NON-boost option on the ridgit fork. Send me a DM,
  22. Check out, plusaerowheels, they now deal in carbon wheels as well.
