Ok, So spoke to a guy at a cycle shop who told me i should not spend more than R3000 - R3500 seeing as i could get a new one for no more than R6999. Anyone who disagrees?

Im just looking for some advice on the bike, im not a guru on bikes so any help would have been nice. Plus theres not much for sale at the moment in the western cape for bikes in a large size. ;-) Just want to make sure im making a good purchase.

He wasn't willing to go lower than R5 500 at the time. What would you offer for it if you were in my shoes? thanks
