Rode the two new trails above top Canary at Jonkers this weekend. What a blast - fast and flowy - we couldn't stop smiling for the next few hours. Also rode the recently (I think) refurbished Ellioty (spelling?) - brilliant. Also the fire hut trails down through the pine plantation. Schweet! as always. Thanks to whoever the guys are who put so much work into these trails.

night rides are on Thursdays at Meerendal, but only with Tygerberg Club and you have to be a member. Night rides from Tygerberg clubhouse on Ntida on Wednesdays, but also only for Tygerberg members.You can ride until sunset if you are not a member - just put your money in the honesty box. I've ridden all the trails during the week on my own and I reckon you are safe. Only one to be careful of when alone is Majik Forest.

don't know why you have waited so long. my latest replacement took just over a week. I was told Dragon received a container of stock on Tuesday last week.

there is a limit mark on the seatpost and I am about 5cm on the safe side of that. I am 1.78m and it is a medium frame.

you're right. I love my Anthem, but I think my next bike might be a Stumpjumper 29er.

I bought a Giant Anthem 26er in May 2010. In June this year I noticed a crack in the frame at the weld where the seat tube meets the top tube. Got a replacement frame from Dragon Sports, no questions asked. 2 weeks ago I notice a crack in the new frame - same place. Dragon replace the frame again, no problem. So firstly, well done to Dragon/Giant for the great service - makes me want to buy Giant again. But, secondly, this is obviously a design flaw in the Anthem frame - I have heard of other people who have also had issues, although those were 29er frames - makes me a bit reluctant to buy Giant again. Any thoughts, anyone?
