Does any body out there know of any cyclocross racing or gathering happening in the cape area? I would love to give it a ago looks like a challenge and a whole lot of fun.

I am looking to start road cycling and have found a Raleigh RC 3000 I like. But I am getting a bit confused with the whole sizing thing The Raleigh's do seem to be bigger than other bike's I have looked at. The bike is a medium and i am aprox 1.8m tall. Any help will be much appreciated.
