  1. Thanks guys! I had actually already entered. The first I saw of requiring a license was in Nigel's post, I am glad I saw it! I have now bought a domestic license and CSA membership. I have been emailed a membership card, does that constitute the license as well or is it a separate card? Thanks again for the help.
  2. Does anyone know if we have to organize a race license before hand or will CSA be in PMB to issue day licenses?
  3. Such a nice post. I still ride with my dad every Sunday afternoon, I am 31 and he is in his 60's.
  4. Done! I am ordering a set. It will be too cool to ride in RSA kit at the world champs!
  5. You can in Silvermine. Park in the MTB parking before the dam and there is a very nice 8 km route around the dam.
  6. IDT in front of the TV while tdf is on!!
  7. If you don't like your shins go with the crankbrothers egg beaters. I rode them for years and have the scars to show it... I am loving my look s-tracks now!
  8. Bryton has the worst website ever in the history of the internet... Much prefer my garmin now
  9. Wow! This thread has really returned the faith I had in the hub. I had being questioning lately whether I wanted to still spend time on here, I don't post much, but read a lot (a bit of a lurker...) It is so awesome to see everyone's positive attitudes and replies to someone looking for a little motivation. I also sometimes battle with motivation and will definitely use some of the suggestions posted here! Thanks guys!
  10. I have entered!! 30-34 I think it is a great opportunity. The world champs are on our door step (just a local flight away) and we can race it. I think it will be great fun, really painful and an awesome experience.
  11. Use an old road bike on the IDT. I have my 1990's Cannondale 3.0 (who can remember those?) permanently set up on the IDT. In 5 years and 100's of hours on the trainer I have only had to service the BB.
  12. Omino are the agents for Easton as far as I can remember, they are the weakest link...
  13. I will also be riding my first one this weekend! Looking forward to it.
  14. I bought a set of rollers in 2008 after I broke my arm riding MX. It was the best buy ever. I have a spare road bike (old cannondale 3.0) permanently set up in the lounge in front of the TV. I do a lot of very useful training on it, I can do up to 2 hour sessions like that. I have the giant rollers, and I have only ever had to replace the tension adjuster in 4 years and 100's of hours use. The setup.
  15. Endomondo on a Blackberry (I use it on the iPhone, it works perfectly) Your wife can track you from the Endomondo site. I use it to check my girlfriend is ok when she rides alone. You can track with the free versions.
