    I would at least like to have the option to do so? If I can pay a fraction of the price to get a spare phone working again. Even though the display might be inferior, it should be my choice on what I do with MY phone

    Agree on copies; scan it in and save it in the cloud to make sure it doesn’t get lost. Bad news on the expediency of the CFR; I submitted 2 applications beginning March with the last status update 31 March. No progress since then. From what I’m reading on various forums, mine is not an isolated case

    Must say it's getting more and more difficult to justify spending +-R20k on a phone. R18k at the moment for the cheapest iPhone 11; I can only imagine what the next iteration will cost (And the 12 won’t even come with a charger; that’s just lunacy)
