  1. N1 near pretoria had to get an additional bridge + a sinkhole that developed shortly before where the bridge addition had to happen The solution was t just driver the lanes so long that new lines were painted instead of fixing the issue. Bridge was finished q3 last year i think , maybe q4 but it took more than a year Sinkhole is still there and lanes ****** all over causing massive congestion ......since the first weeks of 2022 ( atleast thats what i remember , might be longer ) Very discouraging to see videos of competent people using tax money to solve problems and not just stuff their fat faces and pockets. WHoooooooooooosaaaaaaa , done for today
  2. i REJECT YOUR REALITY AND SUBSTITUTE MY OWN
  3. Make 200k sworks epics form 2019 common place
  4. I wonder how many fights between banks and insurers are going on cause i know yonda has it as a requirement cause yeah , 300k bike jacked while still owing the bank 450k ( yep these deals are criminal agreements )
  5. That's too far , a cassette with a 0.75 chain coming off won't take a brand new chain ...atleast not smoothly I rotate 3 chains on a cassette all at 0.5 then back on till .75 when the 3rd has reached .5 As per countless comments on the threads and its worked great for me GX eagle fwiw
  6. Also indicates that the ridiculousness of the situation is consistent ...or we're all just morons I think i fall firmly into the latter
  7. Also guarantee you some 12yr old kid will be riding one at the school series within 2 months of now But live and let live
  8. Fair point We'll likely be th same in 5 years when the sworks epic 16 is launched for 600k and people are gobbling up the epic 12 for 350k second hand ...I need to take a break lol 😂
  9. With how targeted and organized these jackings are getting I HIGHLY doubt that
  10. Even pulling the flight attendant off which in my mind is arguably 30% of the cost then the pricing still seems wild But to be fair we have seen quarter mill second hand bikes on here 👀
  11. 295k jirrrrrrrr bru criminals falling over themselves right now
  12. Why do I feel there have been more than 8 versions ? ( not counting evo's )
  13. Its definitely geared towards locking you into their ecosystem but why else would they offer it ? Stuff I do willfully to qualify : Renters insurance Loan ( tiny amount that i pay back minimum , literally just to get the points ) 2 lotto tickets pm 3 air time purchases 1 snapscan purchase Fuel at caltex/astron Stuff i do anyway point system or not : have bank account for 10 years or more access banking app more than 5 times pm Use my credit card for purchases ( free swipes vs paying for every swipe with my debit card ) Draft a will through them Share trading through them This is alot of hoops and there are more but the returns of it are massive and wayyyy more than the cost of doing these things ( needed or not ) But I'm 1 in 100 000 , the bank obviously relies on that 100 000 that do similar but not all requirements to make money and pay the top achievers out. Its something many people will just " aggg its BS ...." but they won't look at how much they can get back. These programs are another avenue people can use to offset monthly bills but are just too lazy
  14. Getting to lv5 in ucount can be a ballache but once there the rewards are great. I opt only for points and get back nearly 2.6k( and 2 gigs extra data ) every month vs. about 1100 I'm spending to achieve the level. Also get dischem and makro vouchers now and then
  15. Its only been happening across the entire industry so obviously Trek would've had to follow suit eventually
  16. Wasn't there a post on Bikehub just the other day f an MK4 doing the same ? Trying to find it but

  18. Looks much more XC than the bigger cousins but looks are just looks. Good points are 34.9mm seatpost and 170mm cranks ( although 165 would be cooler )
  19. Good Place for a handpump , or one of those utility boksies
  20. Aircon business LOL I'm going to remember that for longggggg🤣
  21. Same , gona eek out another two chains on my gx then its back to 11. Also dreading actually finding it
  22. Shimano linkglide 11 with some proper brakes and this bike will sell like hot cakes.
  23. Bike yoke is liek the lyne in this aspect It also has a graphic at the bottom of the post that you use to get an idea of the exposed cable required.
  24. Bikeyoke just uses a cable remote to activate so nearly any dropper remote works with them. No none of the working parts are interchangeable.
  25. Unfortunately it needs to go the CPT yes for it to be serviced by the agents unless you opt for one of the suspension guy sup north ( where I'm assuming you are ? ) The reverb is an over engineered piece of garbage , that harsh but it is. If you service it within the intervals it'll give years of good performance , but only if you stick to the maintenance schedule. Sorry I don't have anything more constructive to say but I've rebuilt maybe around 20 myself and its a shite show Cartridge droppers are better in terms of reliability ( especially if you don't maintain them ) EG Lyne , One up , Bontrager , Transx There are some very good hydraulic posts that are slightly ( ever so ) more reliable than the reverb , like the fox transfer but I put it in the same class as the reverb. Then there's the grand daddy ... Bikeyoke ( similar idea inside as the reverb , but super reliable and has the ability to be bled on the bike by the user ) its service intervals are also way longer.
