  1. Why did you have to edit your post as I was about to be a smart @ss and inform you it is not priceless, but rather costs R320.
  2. I was caught by one of those bulk flights scams. Friends of family used them so I also bought into it. Came out as a scam. Never followed up or pressed charges. Regret it thinking of the fact that if someone before me did it, it could have saved me some bucks. Please press charges.
  3. What did the bike sell for eventually? Low ball offers is obviously very subjective. I am currently looking around for a entry to mid range older road bike to ride the CTCT with. MTB gets heavy. See so many varying specs, condition vs price. Some of these adds are up for three months(still for sale) but not budging on price because it has 105. Yes it has a nine speed from two decades ago. That is why it is not selling.
  4. Brackenfell, Western Cape. Just saw you are in Brackenfell as well?
  5. Cleaning out garage, have a 26" frame(I think) and some parts if someone is interested in building up a bike. Fork is not working, no clue what is going on with it. PM me if you what it.
  6. Hi folks, I am looking for a rear hanger for a GT ZR 3.0 road bike. Any one have laying around or know where I can track one down?
  7. Sorry and bike in question is a 51cm
  8. Hi all, I am looking at purchasing the above bike with road bars on as an upgrade to my race/hybrid bike(old trek). I am 177cm and inseam of about 85cm. That makes me at about 54-53cm on road bike frame, still confused to top tube or seat tube. I have attached a size chart, I have read that you buy smaller on a TT bike than road frame? Reason for this bike, in future would use the tri bike, but for now will be used in road races. Any help will be appreciated.
  9. I had a CRAP weekend. Saturday my sons birthday party with all the usual cake and things. Sunday had a family day with my wife's work. Food stalls, braaivleis and the worst, a candy bar! But it was delicious and would do it all over again!
  10. I am selling my bikes and buying some golf bats. Less rules there
  11. Dont beat yourself up, if it was easy everybody would be at goal weight. Takes time.
  12. Problem is, I like the hot cross buns as well as the Easter eggs.
  13. Hi all, I am looking for a set of road wheels and 26" MTB wheels for old frame and scavenged parts I have laying around. Looking to use the road bike on trainer and finding someone who could use the MTB.
  14. I saw the Easter egg displays are going up in the shops. That is one of weaknesses. Can get through a box of those marshmallow eggs in an evening. Testing times ahead.
  15. Have the same problem, luckily I am on the banting wagon, so chops is okay. Struggle with beer, wors rolls and n braaibrooitjies. Changed the brannas to Coke Zero in stead of Coke. So far so good with just over 2kg loss for Jan.
  16. Last year a good confidence boost. Lost just over 14kg, including the December binge.
  17. Been lurking, some great stuff on here. I fell off the bus somewhat but still managed 13kg this year. No major changes, biggest thing was left out soft drinks.
  18. Slowly down is better than slowly up, if it was easy no one would be overweight.
  19. 5kg in Feb lost! I can take off my size 36 pants without loosening the button and on a new hole in my belt. Well done to all the losers, some great numbers on here. Looking ahead to a great March!
