  3. No! Because it will probably work and then it will be more crap to carry in my Mule! I prefer DR's finger method
  4. In all my life, which is considerably long,I have never used soapy water to fit a tyre.?????? Even when fitting my UST's All the soapy water was ever for was to show up leaks I carry enough sh.t in my Mule as it is to carry a bottle of soapy water as well
  5. That is an appalling lack of interest and service level Some years ago I had a Conti 3000 de-laminating on the rear.(Due to an indoor trainer I think)Told AVH about it and he exchanged both front and rear immediately with no questions asked.I hate dealers who hide behind the distributor and dont make decisions. I have to put new tyres on both my Mtb and road bike so I am going for Michelins on the road and Kendas on the mtb. Stuff Continental
  6. So what are the options? I need new tyres.Michelins maybe. I am not a racer but want performance in all weather.Reasonably low rolling resistance and must be tough. Sorry for the hijack IanJ but I thought I might just jump on board.
  7. I have still an old pair of 3000's on my bike which are brilliant and virtually indestructable as long as they are kept to max pressure. They need replacing now and I was going to go with the 4000's. I have heard recently that they have sidewall problems. What to do.Maybe Michelins??? Any advice. BTW I was running Vapour UST on my mtb and everyone convinced me to change to TT's.Worst decision I made.I am going to change back
  8. Took off the yellow bit of plastic to look at MH's idea and broke the goddam thing. Not impressed MH!No its not a nice idea.
  9. Me stupid. How can it be the final results if its a 24hr
  10. Are those the final results? Pretty extreme kind of event this. No exposure or blurb in any of our local mags or programs about this Go TT
  11. Why on earth would they do the 94.7 when they can do the DC You are right,I have had the doping story in Chunks!
  12. I have a Scott AFD Pro XL.It is a 58cm Just replace it with a CR1 58cm which is what I want to do
  13. I have never had a treat on Carte Blanche. I avoid the program like a plague. I think the whole Chunky thing is a lot of B...S..t
  14. What the hell happened to the great showdown????? Zipppp. All a lot of hot air and waffle. Unless it happened during my brief sojourn to the loo. Or is it a figment of my imagination like drug taking, etc?
  15. The greatest cyclist the world has seen?????? I think not
  16. You just had to notice the bare br..sted beauties at the bottom of little Chappies 3 years ago.I almost fell off the bike.
  17. Yep,whole familie in. Entry was a piece of cake
  18. There were amazing scenes across Southern Africa on Friday as productivity soared for the first time in ages. Sources close to the Government were unable to explain this inexplicable turn of events. On investigation it also appears that there was a dramatic increase in the number of cyclists out training in the dirt and on the roads causing Taxis and the like to stay away. 19. Jeez Gift We have all looked at this already
  20. Have a look at the Specialized range of saddles.Comfort and durability are the keywords here. All for 500 bucks. In fact Specialized accessories are generally top notch( does not mean I rant about the bikes)smileys/smiley4.gif
  21. I got a TC1 hard case.Tough as nails and takes my road bike or mtb. No problem with hauling it around as its got wielitjies and handles Downside......costs me on excess baggage unless I can sweet talk the check in lady Raises a laugh on the carousel though.Could hide a person in there. One always forgets the extra weight of: Shoes, helmet, tools, kit x as many needed,Camelbak,spares....it goes on and on
  22. All of which does not help Leo77 one little bit. I agree with Marius. The GT 1.0 is the best buy for entry level within his price range.Best value for moneysmileys/smiley32.gif
