Enjoying the racing and the tactics from Lidl-Trek, but I feel it is only a matter of time for MvdP to go solo.
  2. Please share links to some of those bike checks. Prefer reading and drooling over the pictures than watching a vid, but looks like those days are also passing.

  4. I canā€™t afford not to get any work done this week!šŸ˜¬ It will be cheaper to take leave, send the wife and kiddies to Herholdā€™s bay and come down to experience the Epic.
  5. No mention of Ceramic Speed OSPW systems.

Thank you Vetplant. Switched to early to 430, was looking on Youtube, but prefer 430.
  9. Giving away my age, but back in the day of junior triathlon racing, Christoff would hammer us on the bike and put in the nail on the run. He could have raced as a pro triathlete.
  10. Matt looks sharp. Glad I`m not Howard Grotts for the Epic days.
  11. Have a Gen1 S-works epic, 26 nogal.
  12. Running a 34min 10km is serious potential. Structured training and you would bend cranks in 6 months time.
  13. Have a good ride and a great day out to all Hubbers!
  14. Should make time to try out. Made some time. Results correlates with my .... day. BikeGrid 3 - 5/9 šŸŸ©šŸŸ©šŸŸ© ā¬œā¬œā¬œ ā¬œšŸŸ©šŸŸ© Rarity: 419 https://bikegrid.escapecollective.com/

  16. Wow! Bit of Giant fan from the Once days moving to T-Mobile. Always on the look out for a T-Mobile frame to compliment the Once frame. Over December the previous frame was on a sale, compared to other top end bikes for a steal. Even watched a few You-tube hacks to integrate the cables.
  17. Appreciate @Shebeen My training back round is swimming...I hate swimming...even with young children in the house, I will get into the pool handful of times during the season.
  18. Thanks @ChrisF, Khamkirri trial is on the menu this weekend with the kidsā€¦and fishingā€¦leave that to the wife.
  19. Sad day for cycling in Northern Cape, greater Orange river valley.
  20. @shebeen My boys are 7 and 4, they have no interest in racing or being competitive. Their bikes is going to the shop today, we had rain in the desert, the bikes went for a swim. They will wait for their mates to finish together or get loss on the way after seeing a stone or animal. It does pain their father more than anybody else...#killerwhale. I do have a question regarding the training of young children. Most of the articles state that children should just be children, play as many sports as possible, have fun rides...but then you get these children that is going to Olympics (swimming) at 16 years of age...and I`m thinking they must have been training heavy miles from age 8. In cycling Pogi is possible an example. To my mind conflicting. Your view?
  21. All the best with the recovery @Dale Look forward to your photoā€™s and new miss. PS that EF team frame is not looking to bad.
  22. @Shebeen you are probably one of the four people on Bikhub which I reckon can go and run Comrades tomorrow morning still dressed in your PJ`s. All of the best waiting out the 15 weeks!
