  1. Did you come right with the Endomondo for the Ace as I have down loaded it a couple of times now and not been successful!
  2. Good price, but poor attention to detail. OP asking for 29'er wheels.
  3. Maybe they first bought entry level bike to test the waters and have now upgraded?
  4. Please post a pic of the stolen bike and please also report this to the police
  5. Pic taken in our parking garage recently
  6. Lucky You! A friend of mine once built a pump track in a smallish back yard ... it proved good new years entertainment and also veered through his wife's rose garden!
  7. Nice ... will do my best to come over this weekend, could a 6yr old on a 16" BMX cruize this route at all?
  8. Are there any tech sections or can we just expect a smooth flowy single track loop? The suggestion of doing a 24hr race there is interesting, but it would also be interesting to do a night XC race series in the whole of the Durbanville area ... there sure are enough trails to accommodate for this.
  9. What do you have to swop with a medium Shova? or am I reading your post incorrectly?
  10. This will not stand up to the debate as that has now my frame for a little while
  11. Over time I have developed a good sense for where vehicles are in proximity to me by listening and being tuned into traffic around me. You can "feel" the car approaching from behind. Not sure I would like to ride into the flow of traffic though. Slightly off Topic. There a chop on a roadie bike last night with a very faint white light on the back of his seatpost and very dark cycling kit riding on the road between Paarden Eiland and the bridge into Milnerton at about 8:30pm .... this section has NO shoulder to ride on, it is dark, there are lots of cars moving at speed on this stretch and there is a VERY good and well lit cycle path 3m to his left that he could have been riding on instead.
  12. Funny you should point this out as I have on numerous occasions experienced this at the petrol station near my house....
  13. Flip ... I never knew there were slower riders than me out on the trail ... or were these guys just taking it slow to get a nice steady camera shot?
  14. Jeez Andre you really are stirring today
  15. Hi all I will be in Bloem tomorrow afternoon with a bit of time to spare before flying out to CT again ... are there any good LBS in Bloemfontein that I can pop into and how do I find them please? Just looking to window shop and find out more about MTB riding in Bloem so that the next time I come down I might bring the SS with me! Regards H
  16. Not cool! I cycle that route continuously and will keep a look out ... though the description is rather vague ... an idea of the bike ridden would be good.
  17. Hi Greg The Pro-Pedal will never lock completely. It will however increase the force required to get the shock to start moving through it's travel. A guide would be to ensure that you have the correct sag set up on the can then if you require more "platform" pull the little numbered dial on the top of the lever body and turn it in a clockwise direction until the no. 3 is in line with the lever. This would be your firmest setting on the "platform". Play around with it to see just what a difference it can make. H
  18. The secret of buying a bicycle is to not just buy a bike based on the ultimate parts spec at the best price, but to also make sure you get a bike that handles like a dream. I would rather buy a bike with lower parts spec, but a great frame and then upgrade as parts wear than a flash speced bike the rides on the trails poorly. I hope the new brand an deliver on the riding experience.
  19. I assume you boys know each other then .... Now I don't know you, but where are the pics of the JHB wives then to help us CT boys develop more faith in the JHB crowd
