  1. Castle Milk Stout Chocolate, this stuff is delicious.
  2. Ok cool, so it's normal, thought I was getting obsessed or something.
  3. I've dropped from 108kg in August last year to currently 95kg with full kit. This weight loss is all just due to cycling. I really battle to control what I eat and when I eat but have noticed I can not eat as much at a time as I used to before. My size 38 pants/jeans all just fall off and even some of the new size 36's are also getting loose. I can still lose at least 10kg's without looking thin(like a roadie). I sometimes ride with okes that are under 70kg's and it shows on the hills where I'm left behind. This one reason I want to lose more weight. To climb better. My keyboard/PC is acting weird and can not make paragraphs.
  4. Hopewell trails tried the yellow 44km route for first time and it was really a nice workout for me, 3h15m ride with some lovely downhill sections and wicked climbs. This bike is still just such a pleasure going up or down. I leave the shock in trail mode and it seems ideal for me.I think these trails need better markings, quite a few guess and go places.
  5. Right there, most MTB'ers(on 29ers) I've met all spend a fair amount of time/km's on the tar on MTB, myself included.
  6. Oh Ok the seller did say someone else was interested. Do you think the price was still ok'ish without the HRM? I thought it was quite a bargain.
  7. Read more on this forum there is plenty of info and ask questions. Do not ask questions about wheel size on a Friday.
  8. Got the Garmin Edge 500 off Gumtree today for R1350, now to figure out how to use it.
  9. From your type of riding I'd say Anthem.
  10. Hopewell trails, did the blue route, this FS bike is just a pleasure to ride, I can stay seated and pedal through rutted sections, very different experience for me and it's just great, can't wait to get back out there somewhere.Saw these big fellas must of been 20 at least. Can't really see them, Blackberry pics not to good.
  11. 1st pic Sardinia bay/Schoenies, they not long trails but good fun with some lekker little downhills. 2nd pic is along the beach towards Cape Receife in PE. Today my bike took me from Grahamstown to Port Alfred (G2C) awesome ride, fast and mainly downhill jeeptrack 58km. No pics but it did happen.
  12. Went for my first ride with my new AnthemX on some local trails, very rocky and bumpy terrain which I've ridden plenty on my HT and today they were much smoother. Went past this.
  13. Doing the G2C on Sunday as first race on a FS which is also my first FS bike. Very excited to do this race for first time also.
  14. My new ride, AnthemX, well just the frame, all other parts came off the hardtail.
  15. Got the Sola 3 too and have had 100's km's problem free. Sola 3 on special for about R8000 now good value. Momsen also great bikes you can't go wrong with either.
  16. Nice bike man, I almost bought one but common sense prevailed over going into debt for a toy. I still wish I had pulled the irresponsible trigger. Oh well at least my wife thinks I did the right thing. Enjoy the bike.
  17. Thank you boris, my 29er hopefully fits in Golf5, never thought of this and hate using the rack especially on bumpy roads. It fits in if I fold the seats down though.
  18. I don't see anyone from Eastern Cape/PE/EL area, who are the legends and heroes from around here? My heroes are the okes that got me into this wonderful sport/lifestyle. Thanks Anton and Rob to name a few.
