Most of the bike shops I have spoken to in this regard were oblivious of Kenda's policy and said that it is to be ignored as they have had no problems running Stan's or Joe's with any Kenda tyres. I have heard of some non UST tyres bubbling or de-bonding, but surely almost all tubeless conversions include a sealant. How can there still be UST tyres that are incompatible with sealant?

Everyone has thier favourite, and everyone else has had a bad experience with everyone elses favourite. For bike servicing, BMC has never dissapointed. But they arent cheap. For stock and products, Willie Engelbrecht is pretty good. I wouldn't forget about Chris Willemse (online) for some things. Bridge often has good prices.

Do any of you Hubbers ride a Merida Mission MTB? I am looking at getting one and wanted to know what your thoughts, impressions and opinions are. What is that rear suspension like? Is there pedal bob? What does it feel like on bumpy descents? Buy-cycling magazine did a quick group test in thier previous issue and didnt seem to love it. That is putting me off a bit. Would love some feedback before I commit Thanks!

The 540's seemed to have a bit of a bad reputation. They couldnt cope with my delicate 100kg body and had to be swapped out for some nice hand builts. It seemed that Shimano didnt mention anything about weight limits on thier website then either, so dont take it for granted. Get your bike shop to do some research and back up the wheels or get them to swap or upgrade them.
