  2. I must say, I tried Krispy Kreme once and don't see what the fuss is about.
  3. The most amazing part of that sentence is that you still have DSTV.
  4. Since it's looking highly unlikely that I can win based on some of the numbers people push, I'll wait for my prize for identifying the baker in my previous post...
  5. Glad to hear there is an improvement. Hope it's a speedy recovery.
  6. I offer to eat them on your behalf and write a detailed description of each bite.
  7. A colleague of mine showwed me photos of his new Cannondale CAADX that he got on the weekend. I've got some serious envy right now. Not badly priced, even at Cycle Lab.
  8. Season 3 already... You're really sMASHing it...
  9. With the current R/$, even when you pay, it's under R100 a month on the cheapest option if you do want to keep it up...which is what, about 10% of DSTV?
  10. I normally ride 6 days a week (I try commute all 5 work days and then a long ride one weekend day) and the other I was also on the couch. Doing this I've added in walking on the other weekend day for at least half an hour. I pulled my ITB last year running so am taking it slowly, but that walk will eventually turn into a run again. It's definitely a mental thing as well. This past weekend I had family staying with me and I had to get out and get my exercise done before 05:00 on both days. I could have easily said, "To hell with this" and just left it, but I got out and got the blood flowing a bit.
  11. You'll get a lot of different opinions on this subject. I would look at Silverback and Titan as they tend to give you more bang for your buck. What is your budget? Make sure you factor in other costs for essentials like a helmet (no helmet, no ride) and padded shorts (saddle sores are no joke), maybe pedals if the bike doesn't come with any (yes, that's really how they mostly come), and hydration ()either bidons (bottles) and cages / Camelbak (or cheaper equivalent).
  12. If something makes it onto the Oscar short list it'll almost always be crap. All those award shows generally have nothing to do with reality.
