  1. Hi guys, long time no *** praat.

I need some help with our useless postal service. Ordered some parts from UK and was sent via Parcelforce with priority, 7 days, but what they neglected to tell me was that once the package reaches SA, it goes over into EMS hands. Now my parcel has been stuck on "Delivery Agent - Johannesburg - PTT" for 2 weeks. I've tried sending multiple mails to their customer service address(es) and the invoice request address. The customer contact number on their website says it's not available and the SAPO number puts you on hold for hours.

I have no idea where to go from here, any advice?

As an aside, the package still needs to be routed to Namibia, so it can't be out for delivery yet.

    URGH!

  2. Would love to know how you felt on the bike after the weight loss

I am also at around 83 and cannot even imagine how leke climbing would be at 64!

Coming from triple digits to sub 70 (I seem to hover at 68-69 no matter what I do) I went from back of the pack to smashing heavier riders on climbs so badly that I have enough time to recover while waiting for them to catch up. unfortunately they return the favour downhill.

Being lighter on the bike is a massive advantage, but realize you are going to lose power output and you can tell

  3. Hi guys. I'm looking for a drivetrain to replace my busted Ultegra set on a 2009ish Specialized Allez ES. Not sure what's on there currently tlt, but it is not even worthy of tje bin. Please let me know if anyone has something available

  4. There's this Hardegat Trophy that now lures me back I guess for the 5th time, but to start training now already? #toosoon. #can'tdeal

Had the same thought about starting training too early, but when I laid back for a month the previous time, I ended up having my bike in storage for 7 months. Keeping the training going now as I have a good base....soon as the sores on my bum heal up

  5. So? How did everyone do? We finished with 1 hour to spare, must say, toughest one yet imho. Stage 6 was absolute killer in that wind and Nonidas Road once again killed my legs. Sprint through swakop at mind bending speeds because we thought we weren't going to make it.

If yellow BMC guy from Bloem is on here, please get in contact with me, I owe you 7 cases of beer for keeping me sane on stage 2
