  3. hi rock, yes i am getting a new chain and front chainrings, although mine is still ok , i used 3 chains over a period of 11 months (alternating them)did about 4500km , cassette and front chainrings still good for few more months , where as my friend who used only 1 chain and did about 3500km, chainrings and cassettes need repalcement like in now.... i am just filling up the crc order....

  5. Hi all, any help will be appreciated. I am in the process of getting a new 9 spd Cassette for my mountainbike. It has a sram on at the moment, any advice on replacing it ? i.e.(Make ,model) Budget max R 400.00 ? Thnx
  6. Yeah, thanks, will do. Perhaps i will just forget abt the HR for a month and then see whether the 60% is workable then. As things are now, i dont even have to peddle, just need to stare at the bike for the HR to get to 60% may be it is a she bike..........happens to me when i stare at ladies, hr goes up!!!Help.Me.2009-10-04 05:07:18
  7. will it be of any benefit if one can create a logsheet/excell sheet and all the hubbers log their weight ,age , restHR, bike weight ,max HR, Avg HR etc etc on it for comparison ??To have a link that takes on there automatically?

I normally do my own"energy stuff" shopping there for we do not keep any other sweets than boxes of pvm bars and those dark choclate energy bars with the nuts.... buy bulk it's cheaper and more readily available and nice to do "carbo loading" every afternoon with a cup of coffee , which reminds me it is time for a coffee break...... they call it addiction

  10. 99% of my riding is done on gravel roads 1% where crossing the tar or to get to the gavel. i stay on a farm. did the zuurberg this morning 75km 750climb. no i haven't read any forums i know i must sit down investigate and then ask what it is all the thec stuff they are talking about ie interval Vox levels etc etc...
  11. it feels if i am hitting the ceiling all the time.... i do not have a routine/training program apart from going out and cycle and getting tired and sore.... where can i get some advice seems to me it (your training) works wonders for you?
  12. [ Everyone is different hey.. Im 28 old max is 185bpm and resting 45bpm I cant stay in the 180's for long thats like 95%+ for me.. I only get that when Im gunning steep climbs or in sprints.. or every second day up kloofnek no wonder you did the k2c in 4 hours!!!doing kloofnek every 2nd day
  13. my k2c data looks like his 117 bpm 2.37 km 4:15 min 130 bpm 24.40km 42:55min 153 bpm 37.40km 1:49:16 165 bpm 27.70km 2:24:15 what does it say ?? i am still a rookie??

  15. Why is it that my HR differs so much than my friends when we are going uphill? He is 41 i am 43 his HR 145 mine 160 and that was in the middle of the uphill cycling together?

I had some down load problems where Garmin's software does not "see" my Edge 305 BUT SportTracks read it no problem?? this is not good news at all ...more problems... and the techservice of garmin where i mailed the corrupted files to is not good at all both times got a standard form to delete those file etc etc tried everything but no luck.....and it is not if they come cheap??
