  1. Yet yesterday he didn't have a problem when random people took photos of him whilst out on his ride. Funny how people just change from one day to the next... But it must be because he hates kids! That's also the reason why he spent his entire morning yesterday at a local primary school...
  2. How great are you when you can raise millions, literally, for your cancer foundation with a quick 100km bike ride...
  3. I've been checking everyday hoping that the weather will cool down a bit... No luck!! SATURDAY 06/03 Clear skies Min: 23?c Max: 39?c Wind: SE 20km/h SUNDAY 07/03 Clear skies Min: 25?c Max: 41?c Wind: SE 20km/h Fun Fun Fun!!!!Squier2010-03-04 04:19:21
  4. That's awesome Connie!!! Enjoy!!! How 'bout organising a hub ride @ breakfast?
  5. What!! Didn't they increase it a couple of months ago?!?!?! What will subscription be now?
  6. Man, that's dangerous! Have seen the same thing at Fountains. I wouldn't call it protocol as much as common sense that you always stick to the arrows!
  7. What is the weight implication? Sounds awesome! Is it only a concept or can you actually buy it?
  8. I thought the marshals did a great job at the MTB race! Thanks to all involved!
  9. So everyone knows two things about you now: 1. You have hems (good luck with that mate) 2. You must have balls to post this question on the Hub!
  10. At the end of the day, Darren, the biggest issue is not what you eat but that you eat continuously. That's my rule, I stick to it off and on the bicycle! and that's also why I need to get on the bicycle...
  11. I go with fast fuel and any sort of energy bars. Make sure you eat throughout your ride and not only when you get tired.
  12. The only threat to MTB'ers when it comes to Land Rovers is riding into the back of a broken down one
  13. You'll be able to ride, however, it won't be the most exciting ride ever. Tofu only has dirt roads running out towards to old slave memorial and then a mix of tar, well sort of, and dirt roads down to Inhambane and Barra. Everything else is sand... If you do take your bike, get a 50L camelback... During December it averages around 40'C there and almost never drops below 35'C, not even at night! Enjoy!
  14. Did you have to drill into the body?
  15. Could be done...if interested I will take some pics and e-mail them to you. Please send the pics to me as well. PM sent. Thanks,Squier2009-11-11 07:00:32
  16. That is exactly what I want! Looks awesome, doesn't it! The roofrack going across the bin; is that also Thule components that you buy with the bike rack or is that something that you have custom made?
  17. Is there anyone on the hub that has fitted Thule ProRide Roofracks to their bakkie's bins? I want to fit the roofracks on the bin so that I can still use the whole bin when going away for a weekend and fit the bikes above the bin. I know I can just get the towbar carriers but I want to do it this way... just coz I want to! Has anyone done this? Can it work? How does it work? and how much should I expect to pay?
  18. Should be close! 21 - 17. BULLS!
