Hi all, i recently got my hand on a elite directo x. Everything i read up its a good trainer. But here my problem. I am doing watt bike with a proper studio really enjoy the classes however it would be easier to just jump on the bike in my lunch time. I am no 100 miler person more weekend warrior. Is a wattbike really that good or will i get the same benefits from this indoor smart trainer? Ps. Based on opinions a smart trainer might be for sale soon 😆

Hi i also have a question here, i can maybe get a stumpy 29er fsr comp al, but have few cocerns are the services and parts more expensive on a stumpy? Also i ride plus minus 50km trails but also some marathons and stage races would the stumpy affect me negatively, sorry didnt mean to take over the topic just cant find info about this anywhere

Yeah i should have checked it but this happens when you buy impulsive and also on classifieds , honestly i have not idea what post it is. I has no name on of even a model/part number. The travel is about 100 mm i still want to play around with it too see if i can maybe adjust it somehow before just giving up on it

This morning a played around with the fitting, but picked up a bit of a problem. When the post is inserted the seat is a bit to high, the post cant go deeper and the dropper is not adjustable, what would i do in that case we probally talking about 10mm or maybe 20mm too high????

Just decided to go and get one after all the positive feedback, will fit it this weekend and check it out. Thanks for all the advise.

Hi Just want some advise from more experienced riders, i am no racing snake more like a weekend rider. Just a question is it worth investing in a dropper post, i only do like out rides and the occasional 40km races, but i do stuggle with technical sections due to my height? Everybody says it is but they all talk about enduro rides nothing really about normal cross country riding?
