  1. Take some time to read the final instructions from farmer glen. Was sent out in an email during the week. The final instructions can also be found on the sani website on the notice board. It contains the start times for each day...
  2. Most of what you need to know about the race can be found on the Sani2C website. Very useful information there. Go check it out.
  3. Yip, I did the same at Joberg2C. What is your training like in this week towards Sani2C? Doing anything specific or just resting up?
  4. To all those that rode Joberg2c like myself a week ago, what training are you doing in this week towards the Sani2c? Would love to know what others are doing as I am just resting at the moment, and planning maybe 2 short high intense rides on the weekend and that's about it.
  5. My Joberg2c partner did less than you, he was sick with flu 4weeks before the race and then had his appendix out 2 weeks before the race and he managed the Joberg2C and we went under the 14hour mark for the Sani2c leg! You should be fine, just don't race it and take it easy and enjoy the experience
  6. I am in for the 65km race. Anyone else doing this race that is on the hub? What do you think the conditions will be? Is there a chance that it will not be too muddy!
  7. My new single speed project build is complete! Was really fun to build up a bike from scratch! Full carbon 29er Single speed bike weighing in at 8.3Kgs. Could be sub 8Kg with slightly lighter tyres and rims. It's up in the classified section if anyone is interested in a really light fast racing single speed ready to hit the trails! http://www.thehubsa...._id=82075&new=1

  9. Help! Trying to convert my bike to a single speed. There is currently a XT cassette on the hub and it won't come off. The lock nut is very very tight. I have the rights tools and just can't seem to get it off. Any suggestions?
  10. I also dealt with carbonality like Rouxtjie. Awesome service and great quality. No hassles and delivered to my house in about 10days from placing the order!

  16. Hi all Any thoughts and reviews on a carbon one piece handlebar and stem for my new carbon rigid hardtail Mtb? http://www.carbonality.com/bar-3.html Would appreciate some constructive feedback on going this route?
  17. I am buying a carbon frame from carbonality.com and they seem very good. They also produce very good looking carbon 29er wheelsets that are not badly priced! Speak to Jason there. Go check them out
