  1. This. Of my 4 bikes, 2 are L, 1 is XL and 1 is XXL. I'm 190cm for reference (the XXL is a touch big but I've put a shorter stem on it and it lives on my trainer so it's not an issue).
  2. It was something I would have expected from her rather than PFP. And yeah, would also love to see it.
  3. Hectic, I see PFP says she's going to be doing some Enduro 🤯
  4. I always thought it was weird that my enduro bike came specc'd from the factory with a 30mm ID rim on the front and a 25mm ID rim on the rear but reading this I guess it might be the reason.
  5. Had a friend who tried that in a race a few years back. He reckoned he got about 30% of his pee in his shoe. Kinda put me off ever trying it (especially seeing as it's not like I'm going to win the race anyway)
  6. You're lucky, I'd say between a third and half of the Kulula flights I have ever been on have been late/delayed.
  7. None given. Just "We're so sorry that your flight has been cancelled." Thankfully we managed to book on a later flight.
  8. 😠 F**king BA just cancelled my flight down tomorrow morning... Hope there are seats available on later flights 🤞 If it wasn't for the Vitality discounts I would never fly with any of the Kulula-associated clowns. Always running late at best.
  9. In 2020 I averaged about 17 on Suikerbossie and did a 3:03 so 20+ seems about right for just sub-3.
  10. Lol, I've been making the comment that I would not back our team to score more than 250 an innings for the last 18 months. And two good innings certainly does not mean that our batting lineup is suddenly not very weak and short...
  11. I'm honestly shocked that we managed to score over 350 twice with our batting lineup... That said, amazing comeback after the first test. Pity it's only a 2-match series. Having a decider would be awesome.
  12. Somewhere between km 106 and the finish line is when I'm confident I can predict what the weather will be like.
  13. I never said that you can't. I just said that it's not recommended. The same recommendation applies to most vaccines by the way.
  14. Nay. You're not meant to do any exercise for 1-2 weeks after the jab.
  15. I have not sold them but my fiance may be a touch upset if I take them off her bike. Sorry
  16. As far as I know they don't make 150mm rotors. But that's besides the point. You should be able to mount them the same way your previous brakes were mounted, including any spacers/adapters that they used. For reference, a few months ago I went from the XT M8000 2-pot brakes to the M8100 4-pot brakes and just mounted them using exactly the same spacers/adapters (or lack thereof).
  17. Braamfontein Spruit is probably about the flattest option. Plus you can hop on just about anywhere. It does go through phases when a lot of people get mugged though so try to go in a group. Otherwise Northern Farms is pretty flat, especially the shorter routes.
  18. I'm trying to drop a few kilos, not pour the entire contents of my skin out through my a**hole 🤪
  19. At this point I'm considering the Salmonella diet to try drop the end-of-year weight before the CTCT 🤦‍♂️
  20. As far as I know it also makes some assumptions around other losses (rolling resistance, aerodynamics etc.) based on the type of ride/bike you select. E.g. MTB has higher rolling resistance and more wind resistance so going the same speed on a given segment will give you a higher estimated power on a MTB as opposed to a road bike. That said, the Strava estimated power for MTB is completely off. It has no idea about the terrain (e.g. rocky, thick sand, manicured trails) all of which massively impacts the actual power number.
  21. I certainly was not meaning to imply that you cannot get them. Was just pointing out that none of the ones I have have the imperial measurements on them. Which then makes the ruler approach for measuring chain stretch a bit iffy to perform.
  22. That's hardly Garmin specific. There are numerous items that are designed as a single integrated system that makes repair impractical. e.g. the mainboard on my smart tv went and it was cheaper to replace the entire tv than just the mainboard. I have no idea why you are referring to things being competitive. There is competition, if you don't like Garmin's approach them why don't you buy a Polar instead? Maybe see what their out-of-warrantee policies are (I doubt they are better than Garmin's to be honest). To your point about repair not being an option. Even within warrantee periods, repair or replace is entirely at the manufacturer's prerogative. Finally, every part of every appliance/gadget has a time to failure, some will last longer than the average and some will be shorter. You seem to have been unlucky and got one that lasted less time than the average. That doesn't mean that it's the manufacturer's problem, that's just how things work. They are required to ensure that the item works for "at least" 12 months and that is exactly what they do with the warrantee.
  23. Agreed, I've got 4, everywhere from 30cm to 2m. None of them have imperial markings though.
