  1. Not sure who's around but all welcome of course. Plan to do the normal Spruit route up to and around Emmerentia and then on to Alberts Farm and back to Fratellis. Ride is +/- 25km and will be a gentle pace to ease us into the year. 17.45 RIDE: meeting at Fratelli's, cnr Conrad & Hillcrest, Blairgowrie. (leaving 18.00 & returning around 20.00 for pizza and beer with anyone who wants to stay.) Will be dark around 19.15 so bring lights. Look for me on the silver Pyga. HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR!
  2. Ok there have been a few Pyga threads here and really good reviews in the press about the One 10 29'er. But it still seems to be trail bike and I'm not sure it would make sense to choose a Pyga if you werent riding trails all day. Thoughts please since I have to add I'm dead keen to get a Pyga nonetheless.

  4. OK, here we go again......now play nice children! I want to ride so this is what I am doing and anyone is welcome to pitch and join in. Bring a light for the 17.30 ride. 16.15 RIDE: meeting at Fratelli's, cnr Conrad & Hillcrest, Blairgowrie. (leaving 16.30 & returning 17.30 to join up with the 17.30 gang.) 17.30 RIDE: meeting at Fratelli's, cnr Conrad & Hillcrest, Blairgowrie. (leaving 17.45 & returning before 20.00 for pizza and beer with anyone who wants to stay.) No lists, groups, gangs, snakes, rubber or lycra required....just pitch up and ride! I'll be the Irishman on a Pyga.
  5. I'm in the market for a new bike in the lead up to the Tour de Tuli in August. Does anyone have any advice on the Trek Superfly 100 AL Pro vs. the PYGA ONETEN29? Would like to support local bike builders but not sure about the backup.
