  1. Steve Cummings won stage 7 of the Tour de France in typical Steve Cummings fashion, attacking from the original break of the day, to win solo in Lac de Payolle.   3. MET will auction off Steve Cummings’ stage-winning Tour de France special edition RIVALE helmet and Daniel Teklehaimanot's polka dot RIVALE for charity.   5. Stage 13 of La Vuelta a Espana was another transition stage. With a few tough days coming up, it was a day made for a brakaway. Steve Cummings got himself into the move with 23 other riders. The group established a lead of more than 5 minutes over the peloton. In the end Nelson Oliviera (Lampre-Merida) outsmarted the other riders in the breakaway, when he rode clear on the last climb. There were also no surprises when it was Nacer Bouhanni (Cofidis) who crossed the line first ahead of Aleksei Tsatevich (Katusha) and Samuel Dumoulin (AG2R La Mondiale).   12. 218 kilometers from Indicatore (Arezzo) to Castelraimondo were on the agenda of the day. The course had some difficult offerings in the shape of the Poggio San Romualdo, 10.8 kilometers long with an average gradient of 6.4 %, and a difficult final circuit course.   13. Today’s third stage of Tirreno-Adriatico lead the peloton over 203 km from Cascina to Arezzo. The short but steep uphill finish suited Greg van Avermaet (BMC) best.
