  5. Merhawi Kudus was MTN-Qhubeka p/b Samsung’s main man at todays opening stage of the Tour of Yorkshire. The 21 year old Eritrean only received his Visa in time to make the trip to Great Britain.   6. The final stage of the Ruta del Sol saw Juan Jose Lobato (Movistar) win the tough uphill sprint ahead of John Degenkolb (Giant-Alpecin) and Sylvain Chavanel (IAM Cycling).   9. 20 year old Merhawi Kudus climbed to second place on the queen stage of this year’s Le Tour de Langkawi, on Sunday 2 March.
