  1. Hi fellow cyclists Voete_bike_fanie, wants to go to Nepal and ride along the country side with bicycles. I would like to go during the December holidays, its not to warm and not too cold that time of year. I really don't mind any age, but preferably between 26-36 years of age. Moenie skaam wees nie, ons gaan nie te hard trap nie . My thoughts are sleeping over in tea houses, (ek wil nie kamp nie want dis nog uitgawes), at night and during the day doing some sightseeing, getting mauled by little children for sweats, trying not to fall off the cliffs to sudden death and exciting stuff like that. However I don't want to go alone so if anyone wants to join post here. Also any advice on travelling with bicycles or rather not from past experiences would be appreciated as this is my first time doing a bicycle expedition. I can't seem to find dual suser bikes in Kathmandu, will travelling on a hardtail be okay? I would be glad to hear from the community. Kind regards Voete_bike_fanie
  2. I had a sinking feeling that if we tried to sleep under this tree; we’d never get up in the morning. Certainly a grave thought, but one that signaled the flip from a bike expedition in Nepal to an unexpected fight for survival in the Himalaya’s most lethal autumn snowstorm in living memory.
