  1. As announced by Christian Prudhomme, Director of le Tour de France and Jean-François le Grand, Honorary Member of Parliament & President of the General Council of the department (Province) of "la Manche" (named after what most of us call "The English Channel") some months ago, Le Grand Depart of the 103rd Edition of "le Tour de France" on Saturday 2nd July 2016 will be from the foot of the Mont-Saint-Michel. The race will then remain in the department of la Manche for three days. Tomorrow at 11.30am the remainder of the route will be announced . . . . :-) Meanwhile - here is a pretty picture to look at . . . .
