Is anyone out there look for a partner to take on this beast of a race? I was not able to secure a lottery place for next years race and am very keen to still do everything I can to take part in next years race.

Unfortunately I just found out I need to be out of town when this event takes place, 21 May 2016. If anyone is interested in my entry, please let me know. Willing to give it to someone who will enjoy the event at half the normal entry price (ie R160) + R50 Substitution Fees = R210. I also have a spot booked on the shuttle. Hi Guys I hope you guys aren't sick of answering newbie posts by now, I would really appreciate some advice on a few topics. I have recently had a knee operation so all I can do(at a high level of effort) really is cycle at the moment. If the bug bites I'll look at getting a higher quality bike but for the mean time I am looking for an entry level bike((29er) that is new. I know a second hand higher quality bike(26er) is often suggested but as I said if the bug bites I'll upgrade. I'm going to be mainly riding on the wine farms around the Cape so nothing too hectic for now. I am looking at the following bikes: "Titan Ryde 29er 2016" or "Titan Cruz 29er 2015" or "Merida Big 9 20D" My price range is between R4000 to R6000. a few questions: 1) Any other suggestions of new bikes in that price range? 2) I am just over 100kg so would these bikes be alright? 3) Best/Most resonable bike shops in the Cape? 4) I'm 1.79m, what size frame would i need? Hi all, not sure if there is a classified area for this...or another place to put this.... But, here is my request/issue: i'm a decent and keen mtb'er who is looking to take part in as many as possible of our excellent stage races we have in our awesome country. My problem: a suitable partner to take on these challenges e.g. PEtoPlett. Wine2Whales is sorted. Doing second Sani in two weeks! So herewith my offer: if you have lost or are looking for a riding partner - give me a shout so we can hook up and try this. I'm an easy going guy, although also half-competitive.
