Big H* Posted July 13, 2011 Share Willie Swart, we always raced against each other in the D category. Codgy old bugger. Sometimes he won sometimes I won. He died not long ago of cancer.
CAAD4 Posted July 13, 2011 Share Who would be your favourite over the last 20 years? I would go with Super Mario Damn! Super Mario really face planted there. And with no helmut is a wonder he ain't in a vegetable garden somewhere. Was he off his bike for long after that?

gummibear Posted July 13, 2011 Share Oi! Weedmod, he said "in the last twenty years"! Amend your posts. In the last 20 years, I'd pick Andy Hampsten. I also thought of Andy,Greg Lemond,Big Mig and Laurent Fignon. They just all seemed so quiet compared to The Lion King. I have only ever once bought a bike because a Pro rode it.It was a Canonndale CaaD4 Saecco Team replica like Mario rode.

TNT1 Posted July 13, 2011 Share I have only ever once bought a bike because a Pro rode it.It was a Canonndale CaaD4 Saecco Team replica like Mario rode. I've done that. A Banesto Pinarello. The only other pro replica bike I'd ever want is a Huffy just like the 7eleven version Hampsten road in 88 in the Giro.
